One of the most treasured books in our Home Library is N for Nobody: Autobiography of an English Teacher, by Prof. C D Narasimhaiah (CDN, as he is fondly called in Mysore circles). When it was published in 1991, Prof. CDN sent us, who were then living in faraway Bastar in Chhattisgarh, an autographed copy with the inscription, 'Students of your calibre made me and made this book possible.
